muse
An integral part of the natural landscape, trees and woodland with their ever changing forms and foliage offer the opportunity to create almost limitless compositions. Whilst many people sometimes fear the prospect of thick woodland, surrounded by the spectre of creaking boughs and dark shadows, for me the idea of such adventures are high on my priorities where I can get lost in the myriad of detail and draw out the relationships between the endless shapes on offer. Better still, it’s rarely necessary for me to travel far before taking advantage changing weather and light… My addiction, my obsession, my muse.
