I’ve been fortunate enough to add the wonderful 36MP Nikon D800 to my gear lately and to make the most of it a Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 ZF.2 into the bargain too.  The limited time I’ve had so far with them (thanks to the foul weather of late) just leads me to confirm what a genuinely wonderful combination this will prove in time.

Of course, I already own two of the best prime lenses which Nikon make too in the all manual 24mm f/2.5 PC-E and 45mm f/2.8 PC-E.  Both of these are looking pretty incredible in combination with the D800 too, the image below here one being taken with the 45.  The resolution of the D800 just goes on and on and for me it’s a landscape photographer’s dream.  I’ll be sure to offer up a small gear review of all of my gear sometime soon – I get so many questions these days from curious people regarding Tilt Shift, especially since the D800 was announced.
