I’m very pleased to have been invited by Outdoor Photography Magazine to speak as part of their programme of events in the Photography Arena at the Patchings Arts Festival in Nottingham next month.
As landscape photographers, we all struggle for subject matter from time to time so my talks will aim to help to re-focus our attention and attitudes towards the intimacy of the local landscape, using your location to your advantage instead of feeling it is holding you back, creative thinking and why it’s important to carve out unique images within your photography.
As you can see from the Outdoor Photography Magazine programme of speakers below, I’ll be presenting alongside fellow inspirational photographers and friends such as Steve Watkins, editor of Outdoor Photography, Greg Whitton, winner of Outdoor Photographer Of The Year, Pete Bridgwood, Joe Wright and Rob Knight to name just a few…
This is a significant festival with over 15,000 visitors expected over the four days so I’m very much looking forward to delivering the talks and meeting as many people as possible. I’ll be speaking on Saturday 6th June between 13:00-14:00hrs and again on Sunday 7th June between 11:45-12:45hrs so I hope you can come along to one of these days! There might even be a few prints for sale too.
